The Builders Care Award was created by the Home Builders Association of Connecticut to recognize the good that builders do for their communities. Andrew LaSala's company Cannondale received this award for its effort in rescuing a recently widowed Wilton resident when the remodeler she hired abandoned the project, leaving her house in the midst of construction and exposed to the elements.
